Alright guys here’s the deal... Last November our resident spear junkies Nathan and Derik spent a month south of the border exploring all the gems the Baja peninsula has to offer. They found some amazing spots but one stood out among the rest, and it's been decided that we want to bring a group down this year. We are pumped to announce that we will be spending the week of Thanksgiving with our friends at Salino Sun, diving, surfing, glamping, and enjoying the best of what Baja has to offer AND YOU ARE INVITED!!! Warm water, endless visibility, big fish, and clean waves makes this a trip you won't want to miss out on.

We will spend 3 days spearfishing the northern and southern reefs off pangas (traditional Mexican fishing boats), and 1 day shore diving a shallower reef just outside of town. We will also have 1 rest day where you can enjoy a surf lesson at the local break, or take in the scenery with a hike along the beach. And oh yeah, let's not forget to mention that whales are a common sight in this area and you are likely to hear their calls as you dive.
Level 1 certifications are required, and comfort level for intermediate and advanced divers - reefs are 30-100 ft deep.
Evenings will be spent glamping under the stars and eating traditional Mexican dishes, freshly prepared from the days catch.

Alternative Activities *
To add variety and enhance your retreat, we can offer alternative activities such as spearfishing around La Paz (by boat or shore), horse riding near our retreat, surfing trips to nearby spots (for experienced surfers), desert hikes, visits to local ranches for breakfast or lunch, sailing adventures from La Paz, or even a thrilling ultralight plane ride.

* This trip is aimed toward intermediate to advanced divers. Reefs range from 30 - 100ft in depth.
Accommodations: You will have the choice between a glamping tent or the Salino Suite. The beds are large and comfortable, but we will be sleeping 2 up. If you would prefer your own space, there is room to set up a tent and sleeping pad of your own.
*upgrades to the Salino Suite are an extra $100 for the trip.
How we get there:
What we do here in San Diego is flying out of Tijuana, via the CBX border crossing. This saves quite a bit of time and money compared to flying out of the states. Ideally we will get all the clients together on 1 flight, and Nathan and Derik will be waiting for you in La Paz to transport you to Mexican Paradise for the week.
