King Tides! Wind was hitting La Jolla yesterday afternoon as early as 1pm, large tide swings makes the shallows pretty murked up, however if you are able to get out a ways and avoid the afternoon wind, looking like a solid 15-20ft blue viz. High tide seems like it will be your best opportunity for conditions!
