“I am completely new to freediving and I LOVE Just Get Wet! I signed up for the basic freediving course last week and was so lucky to have Brittani as my instructor! She is both a wonderful instructor and a SUPER nice person to be with. She was so knowledgeable on diving and was so good at helping me understand the keys to freediving. Her patience and humor and kindness helped me learn and love the freediving sport. She explained all concepts thoroughly, made sure we got the key points, and always gave us accurate instructions and easy-to-follow tips that helped me to improve so much more than I thought was possible for me. I am a complete introvert and super socially awkward, but it felt really secure and comfortable to be and dive with Brittani. In addition to the instructor, Just Get Wet also has great course structure design. I really like it that we get to practice open water skills in the calmer mission bay before going off to La Jolla Shores. That helped me to relieve my stress a lot and I felt so much more confident than if I had to go directly to La Jolla Shores. I also loved that they introduced us to their freediving community (made up of super nice people!) at the Sunday session! This made freediving so much more accesible to me and inspired me to practice more. By the way, the shop is very organized and clean as well! They sell a great variety of quality gear at great prices! Brittani helped me to get the perfect mask and weights for me. Okay I'll stop here but I could literally go on all day about how much I love Just Get Wet and Brittani! Looking forward to diving with you around!”

“Small dive shop doing big things for San Diego's freediving community. Well, for freediving as a whole. They teach the Molchanovs Wave courses. Freediving used to be this pretty cavalier activity that people picked up with little training besides whatever they learned from that buddy who convinced em to go out that one time. That may be why you have this idea that it's wildly dangerous. Molchanovs is changing that. Along with Just Get Wet. I took the wave 1 course in a weekend and thanks to the incredible instructors at Just Get Wet, it was a breeze. You get access to some training materials a week in advance, and they're exhaustive. The instructors start on day 1 making sure you're comfortable and know your limits, and work very hard to help you relax. Because relaxing while diving makes the experience a blast for all parties and you're able to hold your breath a lot longer. Good mix of folks in the course with me. Male/female, young + old, local & tourist. The Just Get Wet crew are super committed to the sport and community - they even went to a freediving workshop abroad to help teach. Really cool people. You should show up sometime.”

“Just finished Beginner Free Dive Training and it was fantastic. Everyone was kind, patient, and super knowledgeable. They offered a no-stress, relaxed, and super effective approach in this class. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time which made learning so much easier. They also foster an awesome sense of community and belonging, even barbecuing after day 3!
