Vis: 15–20 ft
Swell: ~2 ft @ 12–13s WNW
Water Temp: 62–64°F
Today’s conditions are still sitting in that milky, hazy range, showing no real improvement from yesterday. The clear-water streak from earlier this week is definitely behind us, and the suspended particulate is sticking around.
La Jolla kelp is holding 10–15 ft at the surface, with visibility improving to 20–25 ft near the bottom where the surge settles. Sunset Cliffs / Point Loma remains slightly worse — expect 5–10 ft at the surface and 10–15 ft deeper in most spots.
Even with the haze, it’s absolutely diveable and still a fun day to work the reef, check ledges for bugs, or slow-cruise the sand for halibut. Conditions aren’t perfect, but there’s plenty of good diving to be had.
