Water clarity is continuing to improve around SD, with the recent haze beginning to settle in many areas. Expect more haze closer to shore, while divers venturing farther out or toward the caves are finding better visibility, around 10–15 feet.

A small west swell is running @ around 6 seconds, with combined swell heights on the lower end of the 2–4 foot range today. Overall surface conditions remain very manageable. Moderate southerly winds around 8 mph this morning are expected to ease into light southwest winds later in the day.

Conditions continue to improve, especially away from the shoreline. Expect the best visibility around the caves and outer kelp, while nearshore water remains a bit hazy. Light winds and a modest west swell should make for a comfortable day on the water.
