It's shaping up to be a pleasant day to get in the water! Still patchy though. Visibility averages around 10–20 ft, with the best water holding in the more protected areas. If you're planning to dive the kelp beds or other exposed sites, expect visibility to be a bit lower.
A small 2.0 ft NW swell (18s) is moving through, but areas like La Jolla Cove are well sheltered from that direction, keeping conditions calm. Surface conditions are very calm too, with just a touch of texture from light morning wind.
Today is another step in the right direction! The water is continuing to clean up, surface conditions are calm, and protected sites are offering the best visibility. Go dive!
