Viz: 5-15
Surf: 2-3
Water temp: 60
Surface conditions are stellar today, but it's not as dreamy under the surface. LJ Shores/Scripps showing clear ish at the surface (10-15') but at around 30' there is a pretty thick layer of murk. Latest chloro charts showing poor clarity from just south of childrens pool and continuing down through IB.
Offshore, NNW winds are going to be nuking tomorrow which will cause more upwelling around the channel islands and likely push some of that haze south. Later this week it's looking like we'll get some Santa Ana winds which often clears up the coastal waters for us in San Diego, but we'll see how it plays out. Hopefully it pushes the current murk out and pulls up some clear water...we shall see
