Water is all over the place right now. Between Mission Jetty and La Jolla we read 59 degrees, most of the areas in La Jolla were 63, but we drove through a couple patches that were 68-69 degrees! All that to say there are a lot of pockets out there, cold and green next to warm and clear ish. Both Point Loma and La Jolla had clearer water at the top and murky cold water at the bottom. Surface conditions aren't ideal, little lumpy out there but it's doable.
The Coronados were tough this past weekend, water rolled with most of it being cold and very green 59 degrees, and some spots in the 62 degree range with clearer water on top but murky 30' and below.
