La Jolla / San Diego Dive Report
Vis: 5-15 ft
Swell: 1-2 ft, mixed
Temp: 64°F
Tides:
- Low: ~ 7:20 AM
- High: ~ 11:55 PM
Still seeing that green haze and feeling the effects from the wind and rain. Water hasn’t fully cleaned up yet. Light winds in the morning and picking up moderately in the afternoon.
Quick take
- Inside: murky, stirred up
- Outside: pockets of cleaner water if you work for it
- Surface: cleaner water may push in as the tide comes up, more texture into the afternoon as the wind picks up.
Runoff is still a factor, so be smart about where you’re getting in, especially near coves and shoreline drains.
Best bet
Time your dive around the evening incoming tide, and push deeper or outside.
Bottom line
Not pretty, but divable if you pick it right.
