Vis: ~20 ft (clearer than last week)
Swell: Picking up — time your entries/exits carefully
Water Temp: ~66°F (19°C)

Scripps Pier cam is showing about 20 feet of visibility today with noticeably less particulate matter in the water compared to last week — a nice improvement! However, swell energy has increased, so plan your dives around the sets for smooth entries and exits.

Yesterday’s reports out of La Jolla Cove were great: divers saw a harbor seal, sea lions, a few topes, two giant sea bass, a juvenile turtle, and a large school of jacks. Conditions were hazy but clear near the surface, with 20 ft visibility and mild temps around 66°F. The kelp is still thick near Marine Room, but if you push through and head toward the Cove, you’ll be rewarded with a great dive.
