Vis: 5–15 ft (hazy)
Swell: 3–4 ft @ 8 sec WNW (subsiding)
Water Temp: 66–67°F

The large swell from earlier in the week is finally easing, bringing calmer surface conditions. Visibility remains on the lower side with some haze throughout the water column, but the reduced surge should make for easier diving compared to the past few days. The Scripps Pier cam shows a noticeable drop in particulate matter since last week, and conditions could continue to improve through midweek before another round of larger surf (5–7 ft) arrives Thursday.

Plan for careful entries and exits, and keep an eye on tide and set timing. If you’re looking for better protection from residual surf, La Jolla Shores or Marine Room may be the safer bet today.
