Vis: 0-10 ft

Surface Temp: 70-72 °F

High Tide 5.9 ft ~ 10:08 am
Low Tide 0.01 ft ~ 5:06 pm

Still plenty of energy in the water today. Surf is running around 3–4 ft with some lingering larger sets. We're seeing residual energy from Post-Tropical Cyclone Rachel, with a long-period SSW swell out of the Southern Hemisphere. WSW winds around 15 kts are expected.

Although the Tropical Storm watch for SD county has been canceled, coastal hazards remain. A Coastal Flood Advisory is still in effect through Tuesday afternoon, with dangerous surf and rip currents continuing along local beaches.

We've also had measurable rain within the last 72 hours, so water quality is another concern. Avoid ocean contact for at least 72 hours after rainfall due to the increased risk of bacterial contamination from urban runoff.

With lingering storm energy, coastal hazards, and recent rainfall, it's best to hold off on diving for now.
