Visibility: 0–10 ft
Surf: 3–4 ft+, mixed SSW and WNW swell
Water Temperature: 66°F
Conditions remain on the challenging side today. According to recent local dive reports and the Scripps Pier cam, visibility is limited across much of the area, with hazy water and patchy clarity. The swell has increased, particularly around exposed and rocky points, producing larger sets rolling into La Jolla Cove this morning.
Divers should exercise caution—entries and exits may be difficult in some locations due to the shifting surf and surge. Once the current swell begins to ease, conditions are expected to gradually improve heading into Thursday evening.
Dive safe and stay aware of changing surf conditions.
