Pretty green and murky out there today. Viz is ranging from 5–15 ft, with a heavy amount of particulates suspended in the water making for some challenging freediving conditions. The tide is currently pulling out, so we may see visibility drop off even more as that water continues to move.

Surf is starting to settle down, but there’s still a decent amount of swell pushing through and keeping the shallower water stirred up. Once you get past those surge-y areas and below the thermocline, conditions should be clearer, but expect the shallows to stay pretty mixed up.

Winds are fairly light today, S around 5–10 kts before shifting W this afternoon, so we may see a little more surface texture later in the day.
