There’s definitely some movement in the water today. Viz is sitting around 10–15 ft but still pretty hazy, with the swell keeping plenty of particulate moving around.

We’ve also got a strong tide swing today. The tide is pulling out pretty quickly into the afternoon, so expect the water to get greener and murkier as things get stirred up. Later this evening may be the better window as the tide turns and starts pushing cleaner water back in. That being said, it’s a pretty quick push back up, so all that water movement may not give the suspended particulate much time to settle.

We’re also just a day out from the full moon, which is contributing to the stronger tidal movement we’re seeing. More water movement can sometimes mean more fish activity, so there may still be plenty happening out there even with the less-than-perfect viz.

WNW winds are around 10 kts today, calming closer to 5 kts this evening. Overall, expect some hazy 10–15 ft viz with changing conditions throughout the day — later this evening may be worth a look if that incoming tide brings in some cleaner water.
