Vis: ~20 ft

Surf: 2-3 ft @ 5 secs WSW

Water Temp: 66-68 F

Slight decline in clarity from yesterday. The swell has increased in size and decreased in period, and has churned up some sediment. Time your entries well today. Oh, and who could forget... lobsters!! 6:00 pm today marks the opening of the CA Spiny Lobster season. Make sure you have your lobster report card, as well as a gauge. Limit is 7 bugs per person, and each one needs to be at least 3.25" across the carapace. Pro tip: if you plan on diving tonight, make sure you have a light on your float or snorkel. Me personally, I like to tape a glow stick onto my snorkel. This greatly improves safety, and allows your buddies to easily spot you in the dark. Above all else, dive safe and have fun!
