Still really hazy out there today, but thankfully not looking quite as green as yesterday. Viz is ranging anywhere from 5–15 ft, with the swell continuing to keep things pretty stirred up.

We’ve got 3–5+ ft surf coming through with a mixed swell in the water, along with a minor short-period west windswell. Winds are also up a bit today, NW around 10–15 kts, mostly sunny.

We might see some better pockets of viz later this afternoon into the evening as the incoming tide pushes in some cleaner water. That’ll depend on how much the swell continues to stir things up, so conditions are still pretty hit or miss.

Marie is now about 700 miles southwest of SD and weakening, but the large swell generated by the system is still impacting our coastline. The High Surf Advisory remains in effect through Tuesday night, so continue to use extra caution around exposed entries and exits.
