The Aussie Reels Complete Belt Reel Setup is a fully assembled, ready-to-dive system built for spearfishermen targeting larger fish and looking for the versatility, safety, and added line capacity that a belt reel provides. This package combines the trusted performance of the Aussie Reels Black Woodie Reel with the durability of Aussie’s 1.9mm Jacket Reel Line and the convenience of the Belt Reel Clip in one complete setup.

Designed to be worn on the diver’s weight belt rather than mounted directly to the speargun, a belt reel allows fish to run freely while reducing drag and weight on the gun itself. This creates a more streamlined speargun setup while still giving the diver substantial line capacity for bluewater hunting and larger pelagic species.

For divers running reel setups without a float line and float system, a belt reel also adds an important level of safety and redundancy. In the event of a reel jam, tangled fish, equipment failure, or any situation where the diver needs to let go of their speargun, the diver can quickly clip off and release the setup without worrying about losing their fish or entire rig.

The included 50 meters of Aussie Reels 1.9mm Thick Jacket Reel Line is specifically designed for reel use, offering excellent abrasion resistance, reduced tangling, and smooth line management in harsh saltwater conditions.
