Join us for an unforgettable whale watching adventure, where you will travel with a highly trained and experienced captain on a 2-2.5 hour journey in search of the incredible whales and dolphins that populate the coastal waters of San Diego. With no more than 6 guests onboard you can enjoy greater personal attention from your Captain, better options for photographs, and much more up close and personal encounters with the wildlife. Our 32 foot vessel Zenmar is stable, dry, and fast, which means we can cover more ground than the large whale watching boats, and you can get much closer to the action while still remaining comfortable.
Peak whale watching season is January through April, where Grey Whales are on their migratory journey from the waters of Alaska down to the Sea of Cortez. Their path takes them right next to San Diego, and can often be found within a mile of the coast. This means you get to see them sooner and stay with them longer! We also have the opportunity to see humpback whales, fin whales, and every now and then... Orca or Killer Whales!
Our crew is extremely seasoned with offshore adventures and knowledgable about the ecosystem. Between prior Navy ship drivers, freediving instructors, sailing captains, prior kayaking guides, and professional videographers, our cast of captains and deck hands is one of the most highly talented groups of oceanic professionals you will encounter.
