The past couple years we have visited Conquista Agraria over Thanksgiving. Although each time we have scored epic diving conditions, some local knowledge recommended we come back in January to find even fishier reefs, and that's exactly what we are going to do.
Guided and photographed by Derik Rush, enjoy 4 spearfishing days off pangas (traditional Mexican fishing boats), and 1 day shore diving a shallower reef just outside of town. Plenty of time to sneak a surf or 5 in as well (we will be!) And oh yeah, let's not forget to mention that whales are a common sight in this area and you are likely to hear their calls as you dive.
Evenings will be spent glamping under the stars and eating traditional Mexican dishes, freshly prepared from the days catch.

Accommodation Options:
• Glamping: Three glamping tents, each equipped with a full-size bed.
• Suite: One suite, featuring a queen-size bed.
Each booking covers one guest, with the option to bring an additional guest for a $500 discount since you will be sharing a bed (you can select the Plus One option when booking). To upgrade from glamping to the suite, a $200 USD surcharge applies (limited to one suite).
Alternative Activities *
To add variety and enhance your retreat, we can offer alternative activities such as spearfishing around La Paz (by boat or shore), horse riding near our retreat, surfing trips to nearby spots (for experienced surfers), desert hikes, visits to local ranches for breakfast or lunch, sailing adventures from La Paz, or even a thrilling ultralight plane ride.

Accommodations: You will have the choice between a glamping tent or the Salino Suite. The beds are large and comfortable, room enough for two. If two are sharing a bed, there is a discount for the second person

How we get there:
What we do here in San Diego is flying out of Tijuana, via the CBX border crossing. This saves quite a bit of time and money compared to flying out of the states.
