Vis: 5-15 ft
Swell: 1-2 ft
Surface Temp: 68-71°F
Low Tide 1.0 ft ~ 12:23 am
High Tide 4.8 ft ~ 5:12 pm
Water is looking pretty green and hazy out there today, with viz ranging anywhere from 5–15 ft depending on your spot. The swell is a bit lighter today which might give the water a chance to settle.
We’ve got a steady incoming tide, slowly pushing cleaner water in. That could bring some better viz later this evening as the tide continues to fill in. Light wind today makes for calm surface conditions that should hold through the afternoon.
Looking ahead, a moderate SW groundswell is due Sunday the 23rd and is expected to stick around for a few days.
Still some haze to work through, but the smaller swell and calm surface are a nice change. Keep an eye out for those cleaner pockets, especially as the tide comes in.
