Vis: 10-15 ft
Swell: 1-3 ft
Surface Temp: 67-71°F
Low Tide 3.6 ft ~ 12:05 pm
High Tide 5.0 ft ~ 6:15 pm
It’s still looking green and hazy out there, but divers reported cleaner pockets this morning than yesterday. Viz is sitting around 10–15 ft, with the better water showing up in areas more protected from swell.
Wind is calm making for some nice surface conditions. The tide only drops slightly into midday before slowly pushing back in through the afternoon. If the swell doesn’t stir up that cleaner water pushed in, we may see some better viz later this evening.
Unfortunately, we do have more swell on the way. A moderate SW groundswell is due Sunday the 23rd, with another decent sized SW groundswell likely to follow next weekend.
For today, there’s definitely some fair water to be found — protected spots will be your best bet. As always, dive safe!
