Vis: 5-15 ft
Swell: 1.5-2.5 ft
Temp: 65-66°F

Tides:

  • Low: ~ 11:16 AM
  • High: ~ 6:02 PM

Viz remains in the 10-15ft range for most of the La Jolla areas, with some divers reporting slightly cleaner water on the outside edges. The long-period southern hemisphere swell that began filling in yesterday continues today, bringing increased surge and water movement throughout the Cove and Shores. Expect moderate seas with a mix of SSW ground swell and west swell energy. Morning conditions should be fairly clean with light winds, but expect increasing WSW winds and surface chop into the afternoon. Low tide occurs during the morning hours, making early dives your best bet before the swell and wind build later in the day.
