Vis: 10–15 ft
Water Temp: 65°F
Waves: 1–2 ft

The visibility has taken a hit overnight. After yesterday’s incredible bluewater conditions, heavy rainfall and constant runoff have pushed things back into the fair-to-poor range. The Scripps Pier cam is showing an estimated 10–15 ft of vis this morning.

Rain continued throughout the night and is still coming down in parts of La Jolla, so keep in mind the increased water quality risks from runoff. Yesterday did bring some amazing turtle footage from the Cove, but today’s conditions look far cloudier and stirred up.

If you go out, dive smart and stay aware of water quality advisories. Better days ahead!
