Intro to Underwater Photography

This 3hr private Underwater Photography Lesson is perfect for ocean lovers, aspiring photographers, or anyone looking to create great content beneath the waves. Taught by Gretchen Beehler, an experienced surf & underwater photographer and freediver with a passion for capturing authentic ocean moments. This is a private session for up to 2 people.

You'll be provided with professional underwater housings, each equipped with a mirrorless camera. After the session, you'll receive all the photos you captured, plus 5–10 professionally edited images delivered digitally.

You’ll learn hands-on techniques in calm, shallow waters (20ft max) known for vibrant sea life.

Location/Itinerary:

8:00am-8:30am: Gear & Camera Intro @ La Jolla, San Diego, CA

8:30-10:00am: Guided Ocean/Photo Session to either kelp, sea caves, or rocky reef

10:00am-11:00am: Mini Editing Workshop @ local coffee shop
