Under the guidance of our certified Freediving Instructors who are professionally trained as Junior Freediving Instructors, children will develop water confidence, swimming skills, relaxation and mental techniques, and all the necessary skills to explore the underwater world comfortably and safely.
Age Groups and Course Structure:
-
Ages 8–11: Introduce more advanced swimming strokes, including breaststroke, and foundational freediving disciplines like Static Apnea (STA), Dynamic with fins (DYN), and Dynamic without fins (DNF).
-
Ages 12–15: Emphasize refining swimming techniques, understanding freediving physics, and practicing depth disciplines such as Constant Weight (CWT) and Free Immersion (FIM).
For children, we do not push any breath holds or depths! We are strict on this course being only within the comfortable range for children, and we have three different levels for each age group (for example, 8-15 year olds can progress through the open water Wave 1, Wave 2, and Wave 3 courses)
