Best way to describe it would be " The Pistol of KOAH spearguns". Ranging from 28-38 inches in size, the primary function of the shortie is to wedge in places others cannot. Servers as a great hole gun as well as an easy to carry speargun when lobstering. Very popular in the Keys where hog-fish and snapper are common. Comes stock with a stout 8mm shaft and (2) 5/8 bands to give you an effective 12-14ft of accurate range. Maximum band stretch is utilized by placing the handle and trigger mechanism at the farthest rear placement point.
The KOAH Shortie Mid-handle. This 38" Solid stock mahogany enclosed track gun was specifically built for Low-visibly and tight quarters conditions. This gun is built for heavy abuse with a stock 5/16 shaft and glass filled epoxy enclosed track to conquer sharp pivoting and hole shooting scenarios. The handle is literally in the middle of the speargun making this a true mid handle. Wide Koah gun butt for easy loading and (2) 5/8 Power bands to give you all the power you need. Pair this with our q40 light and holder kit and you have one deadly rock and ledge speargun.
